I've been an off and on-again closet musician for over twenty-five years, and currently pay the bills as an applications software developer. Been doing that a while, too.

Those of you that know me (well) can attest that I'm a little different than most folks -- cut from a mold that gets pulled out storage and poured only every once and a while. I haven't figured out yet whether that's a plus or minus. I do know the universe has a perverse way balancing these things out. I'm also the youngest of three in my family, a second son, with both a brother and sister. For now, my immediate family consist of a great wife household full of cats.

Around 1999, I became an on-again musician. This coincided with a Taylor guitar purchase, followed a couple years later by a Tascam 788 Portastudio and related recording gear. Now it's a second Taylor guitar, more home studio gear, and finally my first self-produced CD. It's taken me half a human life span to arrive at this juncture. What remains for me, I suppose, is up to that perverse universe thing.
